Cycling on the A329 Corridor

Work started in January 2016 on the next section of a £2million cycleway that is planned to run the length of Wokingham Borough’s section of the A329, from the Three Tuns junction to Coppid Beech roundabout. This will form a new section of the Sustrans National Cycle Network and has been provisionally numbered NCN422.

Phase 1 & 2 and Phase 3 are now complete. Phase 4 is being timed to start in 2017 before work begins on the junction of Old Forest Road. Between Landen Gardens and Holt Lane a significant amount of kerb is being replaced to create a smooth uninterrrupted cycleway.
