Travelling for health
Do you want to get healthier in 2019 without the gym?
Walking and cycling is one of the easiest ways that individuals can integrate exercise into their lives.
NHS guidelines advise adults to do at least 150 minutes of moderate exercise each week such as fast walking or cycling.

Plan your active journey
You could use our Journey Planner to map your journey. Route maps are available for residents to download on the cycling and walking pages of the website. A number of these maps are also available digitally on the route maps section of the website. The cycle streets journey planner is also a good tool to help all level of cyclists plan routes around the borough.
