Stepping Out for Walk to School Week

Wokingham pupils put their best feet forward last week for Walk to School Week (15 – 19 May).  23 schools across the Borough took part in the event, with over 6,000 pupils walking to school.

Each child received a walking passport.  Each day that they walked, they received a sticker that they put into their passport and tracked their walking across the whole week.

As a reward for the school that has the highest percentage of children walking during walk to school week, we have arranged for a special themed theatrical show, including a character-led walk to school and a presentation.

Well done to all the schools that took part!
