Louis Taylor road safety shows – tour during first week of summer term

Louis Taylor arrived in Wokingham for his tour starting today at Colleton Primary School and this morning Key Stage 1 pupils were treated to a dose of Louis magic, reinforcing road safety in an entertaining and humorous way, with the children in fits of giggles at his jokes and amazement at his tricks.

Troy, our youngest road ranger puppet went down a storm with his retorts to Louis’s questions and the story of how he hurt his arm running towards the road for the ice cream van.  Two brave volunteers showed the audience how to cross the road safely and all the children learnt and practiced the magic words… Stop, Look, Listen and Think!... after finding a safe place to cross.

Louis always receives rave reviews from our schools for his novel way of engaging with the primary age group to make road safety fun as well as important!!
