Dr Bike and Safe Walking and Cycling Assemblies at Bulmershe School

Bulmershe School was the focus for the My Journey event back at the end of the school term.  With over 480 Year 7 and Year 8 students in attendance, the My Journey team encouraged sustainable travel practices as well as engaging students in how they can walk and cycle in a safe way (avoiding distractions).

Thames Valley Police were also in attendance educating students about safety in and around waterways.

Dr Bike also saw great popularity with 54 bikes being checked.  Many of these needed maintenance carrying out such as adjusting of tyres and other changes after which all were deemed safe to ride.
