Busy Balance Bike session last Thursday

My Journey team were rather swamped last week at Balance Bike Club on Thursday, 22 February as 19 eager little 2-4 year olds and their parents turned up to participate.  Luckily we did have a bike and helmet for everyone in the end but it was a bit touch and go!

Lots of fun and learning was had on the bikes with Mark, our community warden being a crocodile and snapping at their legs to get them to lift up their feet out of the “river”!

Sadly Balance Bike Club had to be cancelled today because of the “Beast from the East” but we will be back again next Thursday, 8 March in the hall at the FBC Centre from 2.30-3.15pm.

PARENTS, if your child does have a balance bike and/or helmet please could you bring along to the session.  Also, if you’re bringing a child that is not much older than 2, please bear in mind that they will need some support from you to get them going!
