Bus Travel

Wokingham has a diverse bus network which provides short trips as well as longer distance journeys to places such as Henley, Marlow, Fleet and Farnborough. Links to all bus services operating within the borough are provided in the table below.

Woodley and Earley Circular Bus Routes – Commencing 3 September 2018

The Council has worked with local communities to identify the most important aspects of bus service provision for these areas to take forward and re-tender the services. The tender has now been completed and it can be confirmed that Reading Buses will be operating two circular routes from 3 September 2018.

The new circular routes will reflect the previously popular bus routes 19a/c and replace the temporary service 12 which is currently running in the area. Buses will run hourly in each direction towards Reading, journey times from Culver Lane to the Royal Berkshire Hospital will be less than 15 minutes and morning peak journeys will be reintroduced. In addition buses will travel the same route all day and provide a service between Woodley, Earley and Reading in the afternoons. Going forward the service will be known as 19a/c.

Please click on Related Downloads for a map and timetable of the new services.

Leopard 3/3b – Revised timetable (3) and extension of route into Bracknell Town (3b) Monday to Sunday on an hourly basis. This is a commercial service operated by Reading Buses between Central Reading, Shinfield, Arborfield and Wokingham/Bracknell.  The revised timetable can be found under Related Downloads.
